Chronicles Day 16
The final countdown!!!!Cast and crew met Friday night at 8pm for a midnight shoot at Willy Bee's diner in Brooklyn. What better place for ChRoNiCLeS to wrap than a bright, cheery diner that resembles a Jetson's hang out. Julie, Malcom, Harry, Abby and our favorite homeless guy Todd, all reunited on set for their final onscreen performances.Julie accuses Abby for being in love with Malcom.Malcom accuses Julie of being a FELVIS (female Elvis, of course). Harry accuses Julie of being up-tight.And amid all the accusations, Todd was silenced by chocolate cake. The 8am sunrise called for a round of high-fives, ChRoNicLeS WRAPPED!At least for most of the cast and crew...
Coincidentally, USA Today just ran a story The Golf Blog covered today: square drivers. real estate The sister brands of Titleist and Cobra have opted for triangular-shaped heads, and even Nike and Callaway are offering drivers with elongated heads to hedge their bets on square. Pressed by his non-exempt status but buoyed by the goodwill of tournament sponsors who already have offered more than 20 invites to one of the game's most popular players, Daly is recharged, healthy and motivated for 2007. There are so many of them that I don't know if I can play in all of them.
Set in present day New York City, “Chronicles of a Skater Girl” is the story of Abby, a former skate punk. Twenty-five years old and already a cynic, Abby struggles to find the ever elusive middle ground between security—a job that won’t leave her homeless, and happiness—one that won’t leave her feeling morally bankrupt. For Abby, skateboarding remains the link to her free spirited alternative youth, representing the freedom to ride and fall.
Though cynical about the world she sees around her—the suits, the Establishment, nine-to-five, corporate bloat, faceless Starbucks-fueled automaton sellouts—Abby still clings to the nonconformist ideals she held as a rebellious young teenager and holds those ideals close to her heart despite her own slide into the very establishment she scorns.
